Series III: Connecting with Ourselves

Wed, August 2, 9, 16

4:30 - 6:00 pm

This summer we are going to be planting seeds of connection to nature, calm, and ourselves at Corpo Yoga. One of the most important skills that a child can learn is how to tune in to themselves. In learning how to tune in children can learn how to self regulate their emotions and how to express themselves in a wise manner. The classes will have a dual focus of yoga asana in order to connect with the body and mindfulness in order to connect with one's self on a deeper level.

Each class will consist of an Ashtanga based yoga asana portion to encourage movement and a mindfulness based activity.

August 2: Yoga + Deep Listening Children will engage in various exercises to learn how to listen closely to others and themselves

August 9: Yoga + Yarn Painting Children will create abstract "paintings" to encourage their innate creativity

August 16: Yoga + Mind Jars Children will create mesmerizing mind jars to learn how to let their thoughts and feelings settle down

All 3 Sessions $54 (save $6). Drop-in $20. Bring a yoga mat. If you don't have, we rent mats for $1. Free Parking. Payments are non-refundable.

Register online at www.corpoyogastudio.com or call (305) 670-2010. Due to the nature of these series and the need to acquire materials, we kindly request parents to pre-register. Thank you!
